Happy St. Patrick's Day

Logan: "Mom, I might need Daddy's help today to build a Leprechaun cage."

Mom: "Why?"

Logan: "Because, if you catch a Leprechaun, all your dreams will come true."

Mom: "What are your dreams, Logan?"

Logan: "To have 88 brothers and sisters."

Sorry, buddy. Even the trickiest little green Leprechaun probably won't be able to make that dream come true. Happy Green Day anyway. :)

This Week's Top Quotes From Logan

After giving me detailed instructions on how to frost the dinosaur cookies for his upcoming birthday party...

Me: "Thanks for telling me how to do that, Logan."
Logan: "No problem, Mom! I love telling people what to do."

While driving to pre-school...

Logan: "Mom, do you remember when I was three, and you and Daddy had a long hug in the front yard? That was my favorite day. We should have taken a picture of it."

After attending his first BYU Basketball game...

Logan: "Dad, when I grow up, I'm going to be Cosmo (BYU's cougar mascot) in another country."
Dad: "Logan, there is only one Cosmo, and he lives in this country."
Logan: "Okay, I'll just be a player then."

On a side note, as per Logan's request, I spent half of the day singing the BYU Fight Song. After he learned the words, he spent the other half of the day singing it.

Sunday Morning Snapshots

Daddies and Buddies

Our Daddy is often underrepresented in posts. He works long hours, and is currently in grad school as well. We are grateful that even after long days he finds time to hold the buddies and read them some books. Remember Daddy, these are the good old days. We'll miss them when they are gone.

Oh, To Be Young

Logan had a friend over today. While eating snacks, I eavesdropped on their conversation.

Logan: "Every boy who grows up is a prince."

Taegan: "No, they aren't."

Logan: "Yes, when boys grow up, they marry beautiful girls and they become princes, and the girls become princesses."

Taegan: "Oh."

Logan: "Maybe I will marry you when I grow up." (Giggle)
