ever climbs up into a very high cupboard, using his high chair as a ladder; so he can eat a bottle of these,
you can call poison control.
Their number is 1-800-222-1222. They are wonderful. They will tell you that lots of iron isn't good for babies, and it can make their tummies bleed. They will keep calling you for several days to check up on your little one.
Luckily, the smart folks who made these very tasty dino vitamins knew that they better keep the total iron content low enough that it wouldn't kill babies who ate the whole bottle. It would just make them a little bit sick.

that is so scary! we went through the same thing this summer. . .i was so panicked! glad your little guy is okay.
Yes. I am thankful for poison control. Saia ate an entire book of matches once. I'm glad Logan is okay.
Wow, I'm glad your little man is okay. It's so scary when stuff like that happens.
(Nothing to do with the current post.) I just finished Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. Read it. Read it. Read it. You can skip the first 125 pages if you want (all birth stories). As much as I wish every woman would read it, I specifically thought of you and a conversation we had after Ary was born. Love you Lis.
So scary! I am glad he is okay.
Oh no! Did Logan do that? Owen did that once but with calcium gummy bear chews. We caught him before he had too many! But at least they don't have iron. Can we see you guys for Christmas?
the whole thing??!! Ahhhhh! i hear they are tasty...according to my little 3 year old. so far he isn't sneaky yet...knock on wood :)
Very resourceful toddler you have. Glad he is okay. Did you go out and buy some similarly yummy sweet snacks that he could reach safely on occasion?
And to think I bought him vitamins that could have killed him? Ironic huh!
