Don't die, Stockton

We love our cute little buddy so much we can't even stand it. He is affectionate and inquisitive and tender. He has a great sense of humor, and loves to learn new things. We are not sure why, but he is still eating nonfood items all of the time.

Items on the list include:

Poison berries (2x)
Phosphate (detergent additive)
Charcoal
Shoe polish
Weed killer (snatched it from me and ran away as fast as he could spraying it in his mouth)
Q-tips
Various medicines (look out, he can open childproof containers)
Battery

These are just some of the toxic items. When we took him to the hospital last week for eating the battery, I was pretty sure they were going to take him away from me. Well, they didn't, lucky for us. Bless his heart. Bless mine too.

Have mercy! That sounds so scary! He must be a soul who plans to lead a very adventurous life. Here's hoping that doesn't include ingesting anything else he shouldn't! I love the picture above of him hugging the chicken, what a dear heart.

I can't imagine your constant worry over his "unusual" desire to eat strange things. It's a good thing he is such a sweetheart, and you don't panic easily.
