Bedtime Negotiations From a 1 Year-Old

Mama: "Logan, it is time to go night night."
Logan: "One more minute?"

Mama: "Logan, it is time to go night night."
Logan: "Hold you?"

Mama: "Logan, it is time to go night night."
Logan: "No. Playing with toys."

Mama: "Logan, it is time to go night night."
Logan: "Rocking in the chair?"

Mama: "Logan, it is time to go night night."
Logan: "Crackers? Yogurt? Strawberries?"

Mama: "Logan, it is time to night night."
Logan: "Daddy's pillow?"

Mama: "Logan, it is time to go night night."
Logan: "Mommy and Logan cuddles?"

He is so cute Lisa! It's amazing how smart such a little guy can be. Kaden has really started shocking me lately with the things he knows! Seriously, where do they learn these things?
We love you guys and hope you are doing well!

I smiled when I read your post, but you left out the length of time it covered. It's been my experience that such high-level negotiations can extend over a long period of time if permitted. Reminded me that I still try to get my sons to go to bed earlier than they do (and they're 40 and 31)! I'm afraid the got their night-owl genes from me.

That all sounds very familiar :) How precious. Wish we could see you more. I KNOW Charlie would love playing with Logan.

ha! that's funny because george is almost exactly opposite. when it is time for bed he goes and gets his blankie and drags me to the rocking chair to put him to sleep. logan is a smarty pants.

i think the beach is going to work out! we are so excited.
