Our Beach

My favorite holiday tradition is going camping on the beach between Christmas and New Year. Since before my infancy aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins have all packed up the day after Christmas, and taken off for the sandy, sometimes sunny, shores of California.
Spectacular sunsets
Long sandy beaches perfect for a friendly football game
Caving for the brave
Tide pools for exploring

Only 23 more days!

It looks like fun! Is that where you and Topher had your engagement pictures taken?

I wish we could be at the beach then also! Which beach is your favorite?

Sounds terrific. Which beach? Tent camping or civilized RVs? I'll want pictures of Logan in the sand.

Aw, Lis! Every year I wish we could go again! Aaron hasn't been to the beach since 1987. Crime.
I can't sing Abide With Me Tis Eventide without thinking of you and walking along the cliffs watching the sunset there.

I am also jealous. All we have around here is cold, cold, cold. Even the beaches are cold. Enjoy a little of that CA sunshine for us!

I have always thought that is one of the coolest traditions! Now that Logan is getting older, I bet he will have a blast!
